Hawks' 1999 Camaro Hugger SS Convertible



This is Bruce's 1999 Camaro Hugger Orange SS Convertible. It was a stock LS1 6speed Hugger Orange SS Convertible when we bought it. Bruce had a lot of ideas for this car.  He installed custom covered Corbeau TRS racing seats and a Wolfe Racecraft Convertible roll cage to the interior. He upgraded the stock 6-speed shifter to a Kirban T56 Shifter and the stock clutch to a Spec III + Clutch. The engine is a forged LS1. Bruce installed a STS 76mm Rear Mount Turbo System and a custom intercooler. He did relocate the battery to the rear and he relocated the A/C. He installed a BMR tubular suspension and Torque Thrust II Wheels powdercoated black. The custom painted black stripes were painted on by Doug at Expectations Custom Paint. Bruce also cutout a SS grille and then had it custom painted.
