Spohn front control arms are a true "A" arm rather than a "V" arm. This provides maximum rigidity and equalizes forces delivered in to the k-member. Spohn control arms are gusseted in critical areas to ensure that a weld never breaks. The Spohn front control arms can be installed on a stock k-member, or on aftermarket k-members. They decrease overall weight, and more importantly - "unsprung" weight. These a-arms are equipped with a spring "box", not a "perch". This provides for maximum strength and rigidity. The spring box has a stepped spring seat that provides for proper seating of the spring around it's circumference. This allows the spring to spread it's load across the entire spring seat, not at one small area as other designs on the market do.
