Element replacement is done through the bottom cover which is threaded into the body. CM spin-on oil filters are offered in several different combinations of mounting thread and sealing gaskets, along with two lengths to fit most engine applications. Each housing comes complete with all the necessary O-rings and gaskets required, and one 8 micron element.
