82-92 Camaro/Firebird Headliner KIT incl Headliner, Sail Panels, and Sun Visors

Installed on a 1991 Firebird Formula T-Top. Excellent product. The installation for a T-Top with roof console is not for the novice (faith of heart). It needs cutting, trimming and it won't fit perfectly the first time. The OEM did not fit perfectly either! You have to make it fit, which means mock-up, measurement, trimming and disassembling multiple times. Some of the OEM self tap screws might have to be relocated. Patience, dexterity and finesse is needed. The sail panels are very easy to break if you bend them too much. Trick is to install them once, taking your time and being careful not to over bend (I learned the hard way). sun visors OE mirror can not be reinstalled. Be careful not to brake the A-Pillar trims. Trick is not to pull them much to avoid braking the OE retaining clips. Same goes for the seat belt trims. They can brake easily when unclipping. This is the only replacement available, so make it work and have a contingency budget because yes things can and will brake. Good luck!

I had attempted to recover my original headliner backer, but made a mistake. That mistake caused several large gouges to happen in the backer. I was SOL. So I ordered this kit. I figured it would be 5-6 weeks before I got it, as it stated on the website - but Hawks hooked me up, and even called me to let me know. I really appreciated that. The product is nice, but like any reproduction it's not 100% the same as the OEM - that's the only thing I'm bummed about. I had to do some trimming around the visors and seat belts to make mine fit right, but just slightly - nothing major.

I purchased the headliner kit with the sail panels and visors. This is a very nice piece. It was easy to install, fit nice and feels like the newer style headliners. As the material had a foam backing. Abs plastic that the material is attached to is flexible and easy to maneuver into place.

I have a 1987 gta hard top that has a console on roof part fits well but doesn't contour console will have to add foam above headliner adjacent to upper console to close gap

Looks and feels like a new headliner. Better than the old molded set!

I ordered this kit for my interior project with different colored sail panels to match my new seats. Installation was very straight forward and the product fit well. The inly thing I noticed was the holes for the sunvisors were a little off. Minor adjustment and I was able to get the sunvisors screwed in securely.

Fairly easy to install and made my car look like new again! seems a lot sturdier and durable than the original headliner.

Nice abs headliner. Looks original. Would recommend it.
