Your Price: $58.99
Item Number: MBR0003
This is a Camaro Metco 1997 and Newer LS1/LS2, LT4, 1989 Turbo Trans Am Valve Cover Breather Assembly.

This valve cover breather assembly replaces the original oil fill tube on the factory valve cover.  The base is CNC-machined from billet aluminum for precise fit, and the included silicone O-ring is specially designed to prevent oil seepage at the base of the breather.  The filter base is polished for surface protection and good looks, and the removable filter element is a high-quality reusable unit from S & B Filters.

Shipping is not included. Call or email for shipping quote.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. Will the METCO Breathers fit my after-market valve covers?
A. No, in most cases. PN MBR0007 can be welded to aluminum covers. The rest of METCO Breathers are specifically designed to fit OEM Valve Covers.

Q. Will the METCO Breathers fit GM Performance parts Valve Covers?
A. No, in most cases.

Q. Why should I use an open-element Valve Cover Breather?
A. Crankcase pressure has long been considered detrimental to engine performance and gasket sealing. As pressures increase through performance and age gaskets often begin to leak. By venting the crankcase to atmosphere those pressures are greatly reduced.

Q. Will my PCV Valve operation be affected?
A. No. The PCV will still open and function should crankcase pressure be encountered.

Q. How do I clean the filter element?
A. Wash with soap and water, air dry and coat with any spray type lubricant.

Q. How can I keep the Aluminum Adaptor looking new and shiny?
A. Polish with aluminum wheel cleaner/polish.

Q. Do I need to make any accessory changes to fit my car?
A. In most cases, no. On some vehicles slight rerouting of Vacuum/PCV/or Smog pump lines may be necessary.
